Where is it? The Staten Island 9/11 Memorial is located in the Waterfront memorial park adjacent to the Staten Island Yankees stadium in St Goerge Staten Island NY

When is the first time you were there? I visited this site for the first time in the winter of 2016.
What is special/meaningful about it? This memorial is dedicated to the 275 victims of the September 11th terrorist attack on New York City that lived on Staten Island.
Why should other people visit it? It has a beautiful view of lower Manhattan from across the waters here in the north shore of Staten Island. During the anniversary of September 11th you have a unique view of the light towers projected form the World Trade Center site.
Is there anything they need to know or prepare to go there? What's the best way to get there?

Take public transportation to the Staten Island Ferry (free ride for all commuters) and walk to the right following the water line.
